It’s x-mas party time! On Friday, December 19th, two of your favorite parties join forces to ignite the dancefloor! Let’s dance all night and get festive together. The holidays are about indulging, parties, friends and PRESENTS. So that’s what we are going to do. Tons of giveaways, fundraising for local charities and all the 1990s-00s Hip Hop and RnB you could want.

SPOOR is a new series aimed at Ottawa’s audacious and venturesome party-goers. On the program: some of the finest DJs & producers from the scenes of Techno, House, Acid and more. Discover beats from the deepest ends of the globe, digging through the undergrounds from Paris, Berlin, Vienna all the way to Istanbul. All while paying tribute to the early monumental movements of Chicago & Detroit. This is a night for the party adventurers who like to party just that little bit harder, and go that little bit deeper.

The first installment of SPOOR happens on Thursday, December 18th at Babylon. It features a program that explores the intersection of sound, light and video projection…. Bringing it all together will be a live set by Adam Saikaley & Gary Franks (Ceremony), Mathieu Thibault (FauMardi Collective) and WOERKS (Tadellos, Berlin; The Deep End), as well as video projections by Sasha Vreca (FauMardi Collective).

This Friday December 12th, two powerful forces will collide at one event to bring a memorable/forgetful night of debauchery. Jack Daniels plus Top of The World Xmas party at Grillz and Glam will be a headquarters of bad decisions with fun written all over em. The first 100 peeps through the door will get to don the Jack trademark in black tshirt style, then Jackgirls will be pouring some samples to get the party started. Top will take it from there and drive this Xmas bus down the slippery slope to blissful festive cheer. DJ Brains4breakfast will provide the soundtrack to all the ensuing radness. Prepare yoself Ottawa.

With influences ranging from Knife Party to Dada Life, TJR & Joel FletcherPeep This bring a new level of bassline-infused party music to clubs and festivals the world over. Don’t miss this, don’t sleep, up all night, Peep this shit.

Check out some of the photos from the inaugural event put on by Decoded Lifestyle. Special thanks to Stickybuds, Mr. TheCat, and Midion for making’em sweat on the dancefloor all night long. The vibe was so solid and cheers to all who came out and played hard. Dreammind and our boy Corby took care of the production, and then it only became about bass, funk, glitch and good times.
