OK boys, go get it done. Bring the Grey Cup back to Ottawa. Mod Club Ottawa will be hosting a stellar afterparty to celebrate our team’s awesome run this year. Excellent work Coach Campbell, Henry Burris, and James Ellingson (“The Catch”) and the whole team. Looking forward to a big win tonight and subsequent afterparty at Mod Club, the best party on a Sunday night, w/ resident DJ’s Gaz and Emmett. Doors open at 10 right after the game. #redblacks #greycup #modclubottawa #underdogstakingit

The last Friday of every month at Babylon is awesome. DJ’s Matty and Skid Vicious know how to perfectly play a killer soundtrack of fun and good times for all who attend. Shameless would have to be considered one of O-town’s best party jams of any month, happening anywhere.

If you haven’t been, it can be best described as a night of cheesy-shit dance-floor bangers that everyone loves but would never admit to. No shame all game, cheesy in the best way possible. Come out early so you are not waiting in the cold. Doors are at 10:30. It packs up early for this one. It all happens this Friday November 27th.

Babylon has had the pleasure of working with Carleton U Ski and Snowboard Club for many years. They are our great friends and together we have put on some of the most classic parties Babs has ever had. The torch has been passed to some different generations of school boarders and partiers, but their events are always the same; totally charged and fun-loving.

This Saturday, November 28th will be another in the epic Hustle and Snow history at the club. As per usual, there will be no shortage of gear and swag going out, as well as some shred videos. So grab some stuff, and get ready for another awesome Ski and Snowboard Club party and winter season. Resident Hustle and Snow DJ Acro brings the beats.

This month’s Offbeat features mash-ups served up by Dan Valin and special vocal performance by Kimberly Sunstrum.

Monster Energy, Babylon, Bydek Group Inc, DNA Presents and Straight Goods Music are proud to present a show 5 years in the making. One of the most creative, prolific producers of the freshman class, and the man behind the explosion of trap music as 1/2 of TNGHT is finally coming to Ottawa for a 2 HOUR Dj Set!

Please welcome Hudson Mohawke (UK, GOOD Music, LuckyMe, WARP Records) for his first O-town appearance on Thursday, November 19th. The soundscape catalogue will get torn apart, come witness a real groundbreaker in hip hop and electronic music. Tickets are available online at Eventbrite.

Babylon is super pumped to be working with a new company of promoters in town, Eephorea Productions. Made up of students from Ottawa U, Eephorea brings a new night ‘Circus’ ready to roll out for all the house heads of the city. The theme is aimed to marvel and inspire through visuals and sounds combined, making a fun safe environment for dancers and partyers alike.

This Saturday, Babylon will be transformed into a circus environment where the space and show will be unique and similar to a carnival for all to enjoy. Come check a new beginning, a new night, and new promoters aiming to raise the roof at Cirque Electronique. Doors at 10, $7 before midnight.

Who the hell saw this one coming? What started off as two pals, wasted, wearing zebra pants, thinking Motley Crue and Wu tang would sound really bitchin’ together to having a line up of DJ’s this heavy. ‘How do we celebrate such a milestone in the Ottawa party scene?’ you ask. Well friends, we have the answer for you. What better way to toast to a party that wouldn’t be anything without the city it loves than to bring some of the best DJ’s this city has ever produced, on FRIDAY NOVEMBER 13th DJ ILLO, TECHTWELVE and TOM WRECKS will provide the soundtrack to the birthday party of all birthday parties.

This month’s FRENZY features Mija, one of today’s fastest rising stars. With only 3 years into the game and currently on a 50+ date world tour, including an Asian festival run alongside Skrillex, she is sure to blow the roof off Babylon.

This Thursday, November 5th at Babylon, there will be a benefit held for Jimmy Gobeil – Owner of A Dark Cloud, The Daily Grind and Residents who lost everything due to a tragic fire that took place October 21st on Somerset Street.

Jimmy Gobeil has been a tattoo artist for over 10 years now and has tattooed many of us in the city. He has a wonderful family, including two amazing kids. The Daily Grind was also a staple in Ottawa’s community. From great food, drinks and live shows, this spot will be missed.┬áLets not forget the tenants that lived just upstairs form these businesses. Ottawa, we need to bring everyone together. Show what we are made of. Show these great folks that we are here to support!
